Additional information: Description: OWNER HAS DECIDED NOT TO SELL FOR NOW! We are helping the farm and this farmer in selling this 1971 model John Deere 4620 as they have cut back on acreage and have too many tractors. Having said that it hadn't been started in 9 months and they put some batteries in it today to pull it outside for the pictures shown and it fired right up. Runs out extremely nice. 10,200 working hours on tach and was bought at a farm sale many years ago so not sure if ever been overhauled but engine runs very solid and is not tired by no means. Did not use oil either when last really farmed with two years ago. 136 HP PTO too as you may know. Front rims and front tires are New. Sheet metal is good as shown. And no drips or leaks seen. Front Double Stack Weight Set as shown. Dual remote hydraulics. Note there are no fenders on it at present but the farm does have a correct set of 4620 fenders with the six hole stand brackets and are the correct tall fenders for $400 more - but only for sale with tractor. They bought the fenders some years ago for the tractor but never got around to installing them. The farm here in Louisiana is happy to answer any other questions you may have. We sold a 4020 for them too this spring as part of their tractor reduction and if you are having this delivered and want an area John Deere mechanic to come inspect this for you independently we know of one who lives a hour away who will drive here and test drive it for you for $140 including inspection and drive time and mileage. He is a certified diesel mechanic for a John Deere dealership. The 4020 buyer in GA hired him to look at the 4020 for him and he was very happy with the tractor when he got it delivered.
