Qualifications:
Three years of experience in clerical work, real estate, housing management or tenant relations.
SUBSTITUTIONS:
College training may be substituted for the required experience on the basis of thirty semester hours for one year of experience.

Any college hours or degree must be from a school accredited by one of the following regional accrediting: the Middle states Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools; the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Incorporated; the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools; the Northwest Association of Secondary and Higher Schools; the Southern Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools; or the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

To manage a moderate number (less than 500) of housing units in the Section Eight rental and/or low income public housing programs.

Broad review from a Housing Area Manager or other higher-level Housing Manager or administrator.

Oversees all paperwork, including leases and contracts between landlords and tenants.
Serves as the general manager of a small number of housing units on one or more sites.
Keeps records for project or projects to which assigned.
Assigns tenants according to available housing or eligibility of tenants for housing.
Performs maintenance inspections.
Adjusts and collects rent according to established policy.
Supervises subordinate personnel.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
