Summary:
Performs the functions of a Registered Nurse with sensitivity to the surgical patient s special needs, including bariatric and women s patients while reassessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for the patients for an assigned shift. This position requires providing services to pediatric patients, ages birth to eighteen years in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individuals served Is responsible for adhering to all Standards of Nursing Practice, as they apply for managing supplies and equipment under the direction of a Charge Nurse. The position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, which includes the provision of care to all patients, including bariatric surgery patients, with dignity and sensitivity. It is expected that the associate demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The associate shall support the CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini s strategic plan and the goals and direction of their Performance Improvement Plan(PIP).
Requirements:
One-year recent experience preferred.
Current Louisiana RN License.
Current BLS
PALS within 6 months of employment
