Job DescriptionReturning UsersLog Back InUnit DescriptionSodexo is seeking a Patient Food Service Manager at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA.
This strategic food service leader will direct and manage the patient feeding operations at this hospital.
This food service manager will lead, mentor and develop a team of frontline staff and supervisors and will work closely with nurses and patients to ensure we are meeting and exceeding expectations.
The salary range is negotiable and based on experience with a full benefits package that kicks in immediately.
The successful candidate will lead the daily operations of patient room service dining program manage, schedule and train frontline team and supervisors coordinate department safety and sanitation ensure operating standards meet and exceed benchmarks engage with employees and promote an inclusive culture rounding with patients and nurses to promote and improve patient satisfaction We are looking for candidates who have management experience in the food service industry experience leading a team in a kitchen environment and enforcing safety & sanitation protocols natural ability to lead and build teams and foster engagement a background as a Registered Dietitian (RD), Dietetic Technician, and/or Certified Dietary Manager is a plus, but not required Employees who work in Healthcare and Seniors are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19as a term and condition of employment, absent a legally required exception, and are required to report their vaccination status and upload proof of vaccination via an online portal.

Position SummaryProvides direction for patient meal services at patient care units to ensure customer satisfaction and retention for the Company.
Key Duties Directs daily operations of patient meal services at patient care units to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals and deadlines.
Supervises day-today work activities by delegating authority, assigning, scheduling, and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards.
Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to employees.
Performs audits and prepares reports.
Qualifications & RequirementsBasic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experienceBasic Management Experience - 2 yearsBasic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
