Job Title Travel Paramedic Location Alexandria, LA Department Acadian Ambulance FLSA Status Non-Exempt Shifts hiring Full-time, Temporary Travel ParamedicThe Travel Paramedic provides appropriate, efficient and timely medical transportation and pre-hospital advanced, intermediate, and basic life support care within the limits of licensure or certification and in accordance with Acadian protocols.
This position is a 3-month assignment for paramedics who live a minimum of 150 miles outside of the assigned work location.
At the completion of 3 months, the Travel Paramedic can elect to relocate to the area (dependent upon successful completion of probationary period) or end their assignment with Acadian.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Current National Registry and Louisiana state license or willing to apply for LA state license.
Current Driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years Current BLS certification Current ACLS certification Must be able to drive large vehicles in normal and adverse conditions Recommended Skills Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Basic Life Support Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
